A starter: cake aux olives et jambon (cake salted with Olives and ham)


Ingredients (for 6 pers):
- 150 g (5.291oz  or 0.33 lb)  flour
- 200 g ( 7.0547 z   or 0.4409 lb)  ham
- 150 g (5.291oz or 0.33 lb)  pitted green olives
- 75 g  (2.645oz or 0.165 lb) grated cheese
- 4 eggs
- 10 cl (3.381oz or 0.21133 pt) milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon oil

Preparation:

Cut olives into slices. Cut the ham into pieces.
Pour the eggs into the flour and mix. Add milk and oil and mix. Add ham, olives and cheese and mix. Add the teaspoon of baking powder and for the last time mix.

Put all in a buttered cake pan and place the pan in a hot oven at gas mark 6 (180C or 356 Fahrenheit) for 45 min.

As a starter you can eat a slice of cake with some salad.
